Crinkly paper!

From yesterday:
Danny enjoyed playing with the crinkly paper at the doctor's office.

What's that you say? Why were we at the doctor's office? Well, I took
Danny in because he's been acting a little off lately- not eating well
from a bottle, pulling at his ears and generally being a little on the
fussy side- kinda like the last time he had an ear infection.

He was so playful in the office that I was second-guessing myself, but
sure enough, he does have another ear infection. Here comes the
amoxycillin again!

Motivation

Danny's moving a lot better now. His crawling still needs some
improvement, as it's not real efficient yet. But now he actually moves
in the direction he's facing instead of moving backwards and not
understanding why the toy he was aiming for is getting farther away...

This morning, he decided to turn away from the toys I had spread out
for him and head for the singing alphabet wheel on the shelf behind
him... This is a very noisy toy that I notice his teachers don't seem
to get out until the afternoons. Coincidence? I think not.

A different view

Yesterday we stopped at Trader Joe's for some groceries. They have
small carts there-too small for Danny's carrier. So Danny got to ride
in the shopping cart seat like a big boy for the first time!

He was fascinated by all the new sights!

Oh poop.

Since Danny seemed to enjoy eating more regular foods while his
grandparents were here, I started taking more foods in to daycare for
him to eat there. So now he'll be having cereal and a fruit or veggie
every day at school. (once he's got a few teeth and is ready for
finger foods, he can start getting the meals that they prepare at
school...)

Yesterday Danny had carrots at school and then when we got home, I
decided that he should finish up the peaches that were open.

This morning his poop was bright orange...

Back at school. GenCon weekend was lots of fun. Danny enjoyed playing
with grandparents while Mommy and Daddy went downtown to play at the
Con. But now we've got to get back into our regular schedule...

What's this?

Mommy hung up my laundry bag this morning. It's in the same place it's
always been in, but today I must try to eat it!

(Mommy's note: he was not stuck against the side of the crib- when I
went over to check on him and make sure he wasn't stuck, he pulled his
face away from the rails to grin up at me, then resumed tring to push
himself through the side of the crib to get to the laundry bag.)

It's a rough life

But somebody's got to get all these toys played with!

(with apologies to Eleanor, who I rousted from slumber to say "Here!
Watch Danny while I go fix my hair." ... And then proceded to take a
picture before she had a chance to take a brush to her own hair...)

PS - don't worry, Mom, I did get some better shots on my camera- I'll
try to put those in Danny's web album this weekend sometime.
